Fun Kids Art And Activities

Family fun activities for all ages.

Child shows off her colorful toes

Please join us for a rockin' time at the kids tent!

Children of all ages are welcome to create something fun that allows them to show individuality and artistic talent. There's no charge for our activities. and we'll even let you borrow a smock. As always, our tent will be staffed with students ready to help your children create and have some fun!

Legacy Rock

What would Rock The Barn be without Rock? To make sure we have plenty of Rock in our future, we will once again paint a giant Rock the Barn boulder. The project is to create our 2012 Legacy Rock, decorated during the event and standing proud to be seen each year by future generations of  concertgoers.

This is a tradition we started last year and we hope to carry on each year for the future of the Festival. Imagine your kids returning to Rock The Barn in 2030 and showing their own children what they did when they were young. Let the memories begin...

Mural Art

Kids will have another chance to show off their artistic talents as we create a work of art during the festival on a 4' Canvas, using the style of a noted artist. The finished work will be displayed at our Meals on Wheels offices and dedicated to the recognition of the volunteers that make Meals on Wheels service possible.

Other Fun Activities:

  • Face painting
  • Tatoos
  • Tie-Dye Pens

And a whole lot more!

Last year’s art and activities tent project was to do a mural inspired by the style of Romero Britto.
